Bank of England Exchange Rates

How to enable the Bank of England source

To activate the Bank of England as your exchange rate source:

  1. Go to Currency Updater Setup in Salesforce.

  2. Open the Sources tab.

  3. Select Bank of England (Beta) as your preferred rate provider.

  4. Save your settings.

Availability and requirements

  • This source is available only when your Salesforce org uses GBP (British Pound) as its corporate currency.

  • The integration retrieves official daily exchange rates published by the Bank of England.

Supported currencies

Currently, the Bank of England source supports daily rates from GBP to:

  • USD (US Dollar)

  • EUR (Euro)

  • CAD (Canadian Dollar)

  • CHF – Swiss Franc

  • NOK – Norwegian Krone

  • SEK – Swedish Krona

Other currency pairs are not provided by the Bank of England and will return no data.

Update frequency

  • Rates are updated once per day, reflecting the official daily publication by the Bank of England.

  • Historical updates and non-GBP corporate currencies are not supported at this time.
