Question:
Salesforce announced that beginning in February 2026, Outbound Messages will no longer include a Session ID. Our org shows an old outbound message called “CallCurrencyUpdater” from the Currency Updater package with the “Send Session ID” option enabled.
Will this affect the app? Do we need to take any action?
Answer:
No action is required.
The “CallCurrencyUpdater” Outbound Message belongs to a very old and fully deprecated mechanism that has not been used by Axy7 Currency Updater since 2020. Modern versions of the application use a completely different and secure architecture based on OAuth/API calls, which does not rely on Outbound Messages.
Because of this:
✔ You can safely uncheck the “Send Session ID” option
or
✔ You may delete the entire Outbound Message
…without impacting the app in any way.
Currency Updater will continue to run normally, and no upgrade or configuration change is required on your side.
