Overview
We are pleased to announce version v65.5 Winter ’26 of Axy7 Currency Updater for Salesforce.
This release focuses on two major areas:

The introduction of our new Free Edition, expanding accessibility for smaller teams and early-stage Salesforce orgs.

A set of internal and UI improvements that enhance clarity, transparency, and security across all subscription tiers.
This update prepares the product for future self-service billing features and more granular edition-based governance.
Free Edition
With this release, we are officially launching the Free Edition of Axy7 Currency Updater for Salesforce.
It provides essential automated currency update capabilities at no cost, designed for organizations with minimal multi-currency needs or teams evaluating the product.
The Free Edition includes:

Automated monthly currency updates

Up to 3 active currencies

CurrencyLayer as the only available source

Core auditing disabled
-
No access to historical exchange rate updates or advanced automation
These limitations are intentional and provide a stable, safe baseline for Salesforce orgs that require simple, lightweight multi-currency maintenance.

New “Plan & Billing” Tab
All customers now gain access to a new Plan & Billing page inside the application.
This page provides:

Your current edition
-
Your active usage limits
-
A preview of billing details such as annual price, last invoice, next invoice, and payment method (read-only for now)
-
A banner indicating that billing management is coming in a future update
This enhanced transparency helps teams immediately understand what features they can use and what options are available as they grow.
Edition-Based Limits and Adaptive UI
The application UI now adapts automatically based on a customer’s edition.
Examples include:

Only showing the frequency options allowed by the edition
-
Disabling unsupported data sources when the edition permits only one
-
Displaying all edition-related limits clearly in the new Plan & Billing component
These refinements reduce misconfiguration, improve clarity for admins, and ease troubleshooting for support teams.
Security Enhancements
Version v65.5 includes several behind-the-scenes security improvements, including better parameter handling, internal validation strengthening, and preparations for future compliance requirements.
These enhancements do not require any customer action.
Coming Soon
Future releases will include:

Clearer in-app warnings when a customer attempts to use features outside their edition

Expanded billing and subscription management capabilities in the Plan & Billing tab
These improvements will build on the foundation introduced in Winter ’26.
Installation and Upgrade
This version has been automatically pushed to all existing Axy7 Currency Updater customers.
New customers may install the application from the AppExchange or begin directly with the new Free Edition.
