Release Notes – Version v66.52 Spring 2026

Axy7 Currency Updater for Salesforce

This release is focused on Salesforce admins who need more reliable monthly currency updates, fewer authorization-related interruptions, and stronger alignment with Salesforce security requirements.

Since our last published release notes on 2026-04-24, we shipped 5 user-facing improvements that make scheduled exchange-rate automation more dependable and easier to trust.

More Reliable Monthly Scheduling

These changes improve how monthly currency updates run in Salesforce.

  • Improved monthly schedules so Currency Updater now checks authorization daily and runs the actual currency update on the configured monthly day.
  • Added safer handling for months where the selected day is not available, helping scheduled updates stay aligned instead of being skipped.
  • Updated installation behavior so existing monthly jobs are moved to the improved scheduling flow automatically.

Stronger Salesforce Security Alignment

To align with Salesforce connected-app security requirements, we updated our authentication model and connected-app policies.

  • Implemented PKCE for the interactive authorization flow.
  • Completed Refresh Token Rotation support so rotated tokens are persisted immediately and more reliably.
  • Applied a 30-day idle timeout policy for the connected app.
  • Applied IP restrictions to the connected app in line with Salesforce guidance for stronger access control.

These changes align Currency Updater more closely with Salesforce Enhanced Connected App security expectations, including the guidance documented by Salesforce in Secure Connected Apps and External Client Apps.

Cleaner Authorization and Runtime Behavior

These updates reduce avoidable failures in live Salesforce orgs.

  • Improved how updated Salesforce authorization tokens are saved during runtime.
  • Reduced the risk of losing authorization state between scheduled runs.
  • Moved scheduled-run authorization validation into the main runtime path so checks happen closer to the actual update execution.

If you need more reliable Salesforce multi-currency automation, clearer auditability, and less admin overhead, install Currency Updater.
